Scope of Workplace Safety and Health Officer services
- Advice your company on Workplace safety and health and matters pertaining to the Workplace Safety and Health Act.
- Manage the Workplace Safety and Health committee and meetings.
- Conduct safety inspections and propose recommendations for your management’s investigation.
- Carry out accident investigation.
- Evaluate Safety training needs and carry out safety awareness training and safety training such as spillage drill as required.
- Provide advice and assistance on safety promotional activities.
- Formulation of safe work procedures and emergency procedures.
- Assist in risk assessments, taking ownership to ensure risk assessment are current, relevant and up to date.
- Update the company on any new regulations or changes to regulation and advice on actions need to achieve compliance.
- Be a owner and driver of all WSH matters, maintain and improve WSH performance.
